Advanced Energy(R) and Suntech Announce Multi-Year Agreement for Solaron(R) Inverter Solutions

AE inverter solutions selected for Suntech’s Reliathon(TM) fully integrated, solar-utility platform

FORT COLLINS, Colo., Oct. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — Advanced Energy® Industries, Inc. (AEIS) announced today that it has entered into a multi-year agreement with Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (STP), the world’s largest producer of crystalline-silicon solar modules. This agreement includes the range of AE’s expanding Solaron® offerings, including utility-scale, photovoltaic (PV) inverters, Remote PV Tie (RPT(TM)) accessories and SafeGuard® support and service options.

Dr. Hans Betz, president and CEO of AE, noted, “AE is very pleased to be part of this collaboration with a world leading producer of PV crystalline-silicon modules.
