Spire Honored with the SOLAR Industry Award 2009

Spire has been chosen as the “Turnkey PV Manufacturing Line Company of the Year”

BEDFORD, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Spire Corporation (SPIR), a global solar company providing capital equipment to manufacture photovoltaic (PV) modules and turnkey manufacturing lines announced it has won the SOLAR PV Management Magazine’s Turnkey Company of the Year Award.

The SOLAR Industry Awards have been created to recognize the whole value chain and those people, products, and services that will develop innovative manufacturing and product approaches that have the potential to change the way we live.

Spire Solar was chosen after a fourteen-week campaign, voted on by industry professionals, and presented by the magazine’s editor-in-chief, Mr. David Ridsdale. Mr. Mark Willingham, Vice President of Marketing, has accepted the award on behalf of Spire Corporation at the 24th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition in Hamburg, Germany.
